I'm still sick. I don't have a fever, but I have a headache and I feel like I'm gonna pass out. Ms. Luciano told me my face was red. I went to my CAPT testing room. I saw Erin and Dana standing outside the room. Erin told me I looked like I was about to puke. I didn't. I felt like I was gonna pass out. I couldn't talk or stand up without feeling dizzy. I was shivering too, but I wasn't cold. I went to the nurse, and she told me I could go home. She said I look better than I did yesterday, but I feel worse. I felt fine this morning. In history I started feeling sick. I'm just glad I got out of the CAPTS today. I wasn't ready. Three hours of math. Yeah right, like I wanna do that. I have to make them up though. I also have to make up yesterdays. I don't know when make-ups are. The school called my house. They thought I was skipping. Dude, if I skipped, my mom would kill me. They told me I have to make up the science and the math CAPTS. Oh well. I'm gonna go lay down. I'm tired.

I left school early again. I left around 8:15. I have no idea why I went. Just as I was putting on my make-up, my face turned bright red and I was burning up. I was fine when I woke up. I wanted to go to school today because we have the science CAPTS and I didn't know if you come in if your sick I was so confused. I was afraid I'd get in trouble. My mom told me to stay home, but I just went to school anyway to make sure. In homeroom I was contemplating on whether going to the nurse or not. I just went to second period, which is history. All my friends told me to go home. I asked Ms. Luciano and she told me that I should go to the nurse if I have a fever, and that I should of stayed home. So she called me down to the nurse. The nurse took my temperature and it was 99.2. She said I still have a fever. So I called my mom to come pick me up. I was really nervous because I knew she'd be mad because she told me that she couldn't pick me up, and that she has things to do. After what seemed like forever, her car pulled up in front. I was right. She was mad at me. She started screaming at me. She told me that I should have stayed home, and that I know what's best, and I'm always right. She told me that she has stuff to do. I told her that I wasn't sure if I should go in or not. Plus, I don't think I can take the CAPTS feeling like I'm gonna pass out. (Okay, for you people who don't know what the CAPTS are, they stand for Connecticut Academic Performance Test. You take them your sophomore year. You take the practice ones your freshman year, but they don't really count. This is all they talk about, and it's all I've been hearing since middle school. If you don't pass them your sophomore year, you have to take them again when your a Junior, and you get your electives taken away from you, and you have to take this class that will help you pass the CAPTS.) Anyway, I didn't know you could retake them. I found that out this year. The whole time I thought that if you didn't pass them sophomore year, you can't retake them and you can't graduate. These CAPTS have gotten me so worked up. My mom told me that this is probably why I'm sick. It's because I'm nervous, and I'm stressing out way too much. Well, I have a reason to be stressed out. I don't wanna retake them next year. I wanna pass and get it over with. I don't want my electives taken away from me. I signed up for cooking and child development, and I've been waiting to take those classes since freshman year. Everyone makes such a big deal about the CAPTS. Well, they are a big deal, but everyone takes them a little bit too seriously, and they scare me. There's so much pressure right now. I hate it. I'll probably have to retake the science ones. Hopefully I'll take them when I feel better. If they won't let me retake them this year, and they'll fail me and make me retake them next year, I'll be pissed. God, my school is so fucked up. I hope I feel better tomorrow, because tomorrow we have to take the math CAPTS. I'm not good at math. I might fail. I'm so nervous it isn't even funny. This sucks so much. Staying home is so boring. To tell you the truth, I'd rather be in school than here. It's fun having the house to myself. I can do whatever I want. But it gets lonely. Plus, all my friends are in school. I would be watching movies, but I don't have any good ones. I really wanna watch The Notebook. I love that movie. Oh well. At least I'll know how the science CAPTS are. My friends will tell me. Hopefully, I'll be able to relax. Well, I'm gonna go find something else to do. I don't wanna be on the computer all day. I'll update later.
